The Southern Ute Museum was honored to receive the Lummi Nation Bear Totem Pole on Sunday, July 22 at 12:00 PM. The totem pole was gifted by the Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition. The totem pole will be on exhibit at SUM until the coalition can find a permanent home for it. Museum visitors may touch the totem pole, in fact the carvers ask that you do so as it will bring good fortune. We do not know how long the Lummi Nation Bear Totem Pole will be on view, so don’t miss out.
